VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) is a full-time, year-long Volunteer program for men and women 18 yrs. of age and older, who commit themselves to increasing the capability of low-income people to improve the conditions of their own lives.
Volunteer Match
VolunteerMatch is a free service for any organization, allowing them to post their volunteer
opportunities and receive volunteers. VolunteerMatch is available to any
nonprofit, government organization, church, school and university.
Global Volunteer Network
The Global Volunteer Network is a non profit organization that places volunteers in community projects overseas: in China, Ecuador, Ghana, Nepal, New Zealand, Romania, Russia, Thailand, and Uganda. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational, environmental and community aid programs. Examples of the exciting and rewarding activities available to volunteers include teaching English, environmental work, AIDS education, and assisting in an orphanage.
